FLIGHT JACKET MODIFICATIONS

Pop's Leather has improved individuals' issued military leather flight jackets for nearly 30 years. Since 1990 we've modified over 50,000 issued Air Force A-2 and U.S. Navy\Marine Corps G-1 leather flight jackets, including improving jacket modifications done by others. The original design of the coats saved money by limiting the quantity of leather needed and the outside pocket layout discouraged aircrews having their hands in them. Currently issued "modified" A-2 jackets only partially fixed some of the design problems.

 

You may use this program to modify or upgrade an issued coat, coat from another manufacturer, or a Pop's Leather coat. If you need to exchange a coat purchased in our store in Adana\Incirlik, you may also use this program.

 

All shipping is express through a special arrangement with NEX Worldwide Express and costs $120 for the round trip. As a comparison using FedEx would be at least $250 plus customs fees of over $50. You may get a customs bill from NEX Worldwide for the value of your upgrades, but this is very unlikely. You can choose to have your coat picked up or dropped off at our Adana store for a one way price of $60. If you use your own shipper to send Pop's the coat it will be returned to you via NEX for $60.

 

Follow the shipping instructions which come with your emailed receipt exactly to ensure your coat travels to us and back to you smoothly. For customs reasons, only process and ship one coat at a time. You cannot order any other Pop's Leather products with your modification order. There are no discounts applicable to this program.
