AirTran Airways Flight Jacket

AIRTRAN AIRWAYS STYLE FLIGHT JACKET

AirTran Airways pilots wear the classic U.S. Air Force A-2 style leather flight jacket, modified from the original design by Pop's Leather with a roomy and comfortable fit and look. Standard features include high quality knit cuffs and waist, hidden outside side entry pockets, and a high quality brown poly-cotton blend lining. The inside pocket configuration includes two interior zippered pockets, an open top interior leather pocket, a vertical "G-1" style map pocket with snap closure and an interior pen pocket. Your coat comes with a brown blank pile (fuzzy) velcro for your outside nametag and a blank same type and color leather nametag for layovers plus an embossed inside leather nametag with your name and employee number (if applicable) at no extra charge. Each coat is custom made to your measurements and option choices in approximately two weeks or 5 business days if express shipping selected. All coats are 100% guaranteed. All main zippers are genuine YKK brand zippers.

OPTIONS:

Note: Presently we cannot provide nametags, you can access your supplier from your company's pilot website. You can choose the pile velcro either sewn on to the coat or loose (for attachment later) and a blank nametag to wear when off duty.

Captain or First Officer epaulette rank is available.

You can get an AirTrans Airways logo embroidered on the inside back lining of the coat. (By not selecting this option there will be no interior embroidery in your coat).

A detachable genuine wool collar is available which, when removed, shows no signs of securing snaps.

We HIGHLY recommend an insulation option for your coat to extend its seasonal wear. There are three primary insulation options: zip out 3M Thinsulate no arms vest, zip out 3M Thinsulate vest with detachable arms or sewn in 3M Thinsulate. You can also order a zip out wool vest.

The company logo can be embroidered in middle of any zip out liner except the wool.

An eye and hook closure at the neck like the original A-2 design.
