A-2 RAAF Approved Coat

Pop's Leather's Royal Australian Air Force Goatskin A-2 is approved for wear by RAAF personnel. Our A-2 meets the outer design specifications of the famous World War II Drawing No 30-1415 Style Z2107G model and has a replica designation tag in the collar. Each coat is custom fit for both men and women and is made with your choice of options.

Pop's Leather coats are made from the highest quality materials including the highest grade of goatskin found worldwide and genuine YKK zippers. It comes standard with finished inside lining leather trim, RAAF nametag and service pile Velcro on the front, hook and eye closure at the top of the main zipper, two horizontal zippered pockets, an inside open leather pocket, an inside 2-pen pocket and a snapped closed fully finished cargo pocket. Our cuffs and waist are high quality long wearing polyester blend and the inside lining is also a polyester blend fabric. The coats are customized with your name on an inside stamped nametag.

As leather has no inherent insulation value we strongly recommend some level of insulation. You can choose a zip out Thinsulate liner vest only, a zip out Thinsulate liner with zip off arms (converts to a vest only for temperature changes), a zip out wool liner vest only or a zip out wool liner with zip off Thinsulate arms. Permanently sewn in Thinsulate is available but not recommended.

Special detailing is available upon request at a reasonable cost when done when your coat is ordered. Please make these requests in the comment section upon ordering.
